Abstract
The narrow edentulous site often causes problems when attempting to restore the space with a conventional standard diameter implant. In some cases, using a narrow diameter implant (<3.75 mm) can be a better treatment option to avoid or reduce a dehiscence or fenestration defect around the implant, rather than a standard diameter implant. In this case report, the NR line (Dentium), narrow diameter implants manufactured by Dentium were installed with simultaneous guided bone regeneration. There were no complications during surgery and the results were satisfying in both esthetic and functional aspects. In conclusion, implants with narrow diameter are successful in select cases, especially with narrow edentulous sites where a standard diameter implant is not acceptable.
