Statistical significance in the clinical global improvement and the patient's global improvement was shown beginning from week 1 of medication.
Although some patients showed decreased appetite. weight loss, and dizziness. During treatment, where was no clinically significant change in vital signs, body weight and results of laboratory findings with fluoxetine.
In view of this, fluoxetine may be recommendec as an appropriate choice of therapy to relieve the symptoms of depression in an out-patient setting. Because of its different mode of action and therefore different and manageable side-effects. It may present an important addition to the therapy available to the physicians who treat the symptoms of depression in Korea.
