Abstract
Health equity is affected by such things as resources, accessibility, or prejudice, and among them. One of the roles of public health is to improve the factors that can be modified at the national level so that all citizens can maintain an equitable health level. Cancer is the number one cause of mortality and threatens health equity. The financial resources and policies required for each stage from early cancer screening to post-treatment care are diverse. This article explored the current health equity along the entire cancer caring cycle including cancer management, prevention, early screening, treatment, survivor management, and hospice palliative care. While looking at the policies being implemented to achieve health equity in each cycle, we identified factors that cause blind spots, and to find for modifying those factors. We also looked at what other countries were doing on health equity efforts. If the government and medical staff make efforts to improve modifiable factors, it is thought that health equity in the entire cancer caring cycle can be improved.
