Abstract
The Neuman Systems Model has extended nursing science as a needs and causality-focused framework. From this model, nurses consider the client to be a wholistic individual who reacts to stressors. Also Nurses would predict the outcomes of interventions to strengthen the lines of defense against stress. Neuman`s model is useful not only in the acute critical care area because of the focus on achieving regaining, and maintaining system stability, but it is also useful in community health situation because of its focus on prevention. Neuman`s model has been used widely in nursing education and nursing practice. Although the Neuman model is not testable in its entirely, it gives ideas to hypotheses that are testable in research. As as result, it has been used as a conceptual framework broadly in nursing research.
