dc.description.abstractThe morphological alteration in testies, epididymis, kidney, liver and the effect on Lactic dehydrogenase activity in testis, kidney of rats were investigated after administered 0.12㎎, 1.2㎎ of cadmium chloride per 100gm of body weight by a single subcutaneous injection. The results were as follows : 1. The testis of rats killed after candium administration were red dark. There was profuse haemorrage into the interstitial tissues and other germinal elements in the seminiferous tubules were undergoing degeneration. 2. The proximal end of the caput of epididymis revealed a haemorrage reaction. The lining epithelium of the proximal caput was atrophied, the tubules were dilated and spermatozoa with in the lumina were disintegrated. 3. Kindney and liver were not observedany morphologic alteration. 4. Total Lactic dehydrogenase activity of testis was higher than kidney in normal group. 5. Experimental 1 injected 0.12㎎ of cadmium per 100gm of body weight, inhibited LDH activity in testis tissue of rat. Inhibition rate of LDH activity of kidney was higher than testis of rat. 6. Experimental 2 injected 1.2㎎ of cadmium per 100gm of body weight, also inhibited LDH activity in testis of rat. Inhibition rate of LDH activity of kidney was higher than testis of rat.-
