소아병동 환자복의 개선방안 연구

본 연구는 소아용 환자복의 사용실태를 파악하고, 환자복 사용상의 편리성 개선을 위한 방안을 조사하여 소아환자들이 입원시에 보편적으로 착용할 수 있는 소아환자복의 설계 방향을 제시하는데 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 구체적인 목적은 1)서울시의 종합병원을 중심으로 소아병동에서 이용되고 있는 소아환자복의 제공 실태를 파악하고 2)환자복 사용시 불편점을 개선하고 사용자가 선호하는 형태의 소아환자복 제작을 위한 기초자료를 수집*분석하며 3)분석 결과를 반영한 실험용 소아환자복을 제작하여 착의평가를 통하여 환자복의 개선점을 평가하고 4)이를 기초로 소아환자의 활동과 의료인의 진료 및 처치활동에 적합한 소아환자복의 디자인과 치수체계를 제시함에 있다.

본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.

1. 조사대상 종합병원이 제공하는 소아환자복은 대부분 성인용 환자복과 유사한 파자마형태엿으며, 치수체계가 체계적이지 않고 소아의 신체에 적합하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

2. 소아환자복의 불편점과 선호도를 조사한 결과, 소아환자들의 신체성장에 따른 체형의 다양성을 만족시킬 수 있는 환자복의 치수 및 기능성이 향상된 형태의 소아환자복이 필요한 것으로 나타났으며, 소아환자들은 성인용 환자복과는 차별화된 형태 및 직물의 특성을 갖춘 새로운 디자인으로의 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 소아환자복 디자인의 선호도 조사결과, 푸른색 계통의 파자마형에 동물모양이 잔잔하게 있는 얇고 부드러운 직물을 선호하였다. 2세 미만 유아 집단에서는 원피스형도 높게 선호하였다.

3.소아환자복의 디자인 개선안 제시를 위하여 디자인 선호도 조사결과를 반영한 실험용 소아환자복을 제작하여 간호사와 의류학 전공자로 구성된 평가단이 평가하였다. 실험용 소아환자복은 소비자의 의견을 반영하여 사용시 편리성 향상을 위한 형태로 트임의 위치

와 소매의 형태를 달리한 원피스 4종과 파자마 상의 4종, 하의 2종의 다양한 형태로 제작하였다. 착의실험을 거쳐 실험환자복의 디자인을 평가한 결과, 상의(원피스)는 원형 목둘레에 7부길이의 라글란 소매와 앞단과 소매위 트임을 단추로 여미는 형태가 적합하고, 하의는 양끝에 끈이 달린 고무줄로 허리여밈을 하는 바지통이 넉넉한 긴바지가 적합하였다.

4.소아환자의 신장과 체중을 기준으로 4가지 치수의 실험환자복을 제작하여 소아병동에 입원중인 환자를 대상으로 실용성을 평가하였다. 실험결과, 소아환자복은 2개원~2세미만용의 원피스형의 가장 작은 치수와 2~5세미만용, 5~8세미만용, 8~12세미만용의 파자마형 3가지 치수가 적합한 것으로 분석되었다.

실험환자복은 정맥수사시 착탈의 편리성 측면과, 상의길이와 바지길이의 치수적절성면에서 매우 개선된 것으로 나타났다.

This study was initiated to develop uniforms suitable for inpatients in children's hospital. This study investigated 1) the general design and the number of sizes of uniforms 2) the uniform design and the material preferred by users. 3) The panel composed of the nurses and the clothing specialists evaluated the function of the revised inpatients uniforms for children's hospital. Finally, the researcher suggested improved uniform design. The size spec for the inpatients uniform for children's hospital was given based on the following results.

1. Design for children's hospital inpatients' uniforms of the general hospitals was similar to that for adult patients' uniforms. The garment was not produced with systematic sizing system. The garment size was not suitable for children.

2. It was claimed that children's hospital inpatients' uniforms needed to be offered with various sizes and more comfortable design.

3. Subjects' preferences for the uniform design were measured. The experimental uniforms were prepared with four different shirt style and two pants styles. The results of panel test showed that, round neck, front and shoulder sleeve opening, three-quarter length raglan sleeve was the most suitable for children inpatients' shirts. The panels decided that full length pull-on pants with elastic band with string for waist closure was most suitable for the pants.

4. For field study, one-piece dress was made for 2 month to 2 year-old children and three different sizes of pajamas were made for 2~5 year-old children, 5~8 year-old children, and 8~12 year-old children. The result showed that the revised uniforms improved the functions required for changing uniform.
