저자는 당뇨병시에 구개점막손상의 치유과정을 관찰하기 위하여 인위적 당뇨병 유발제

인 streptozotocin을 백서 미정맥에 주사하여 당뇨병을 유발시켜 구개점막에 창상을 가한

후 그 치유과정을 조직학적으로 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 실험군은 1일째 대조군과 같은 소견을 보이나 3일째부터 더욱 심한 조직파괴상과 염

증세포의 침윤상을 보였다.

2. 대조군의 창상치유는 2주째에, 실험군은 현저히 지연되여 6주째에 완료되었다.

3. 상피화는 대조군에서는 1주째에 완료되며 상피의 증식상을 보였으나 실험군에서는 1

주째 완료되나 4주까지 상피층이 얇고 평탄하였다.

4. 실험군에서는 육아조직이 제4주까지 존재하였고 6주째는 반혼조직으로 대치되었으며

교원화는 1주째부터 시작되나 대조군에서는 3일부터 시작되었고 육아조직은 2주째에 정

상고유층으로 대치되었다.





THE EFFECT OF DIABETES MELLITUS ON THE WOUND HEALING OF RAT PALATAL MUCOSA

To obsered the effect, of diabetes mellitus on the wound healing of rat palatal

mousa, the auther induced diabetes mel1itus by the use of streptozotocin to the

rats and made incisional wound on the palatal mucosa.

The regults were as follow.

1. At the first day of experiment, trio histologic findings of wound healing were

quite similar in both experimental and control group. But at the 3rd day of

experiment, the inflammation and tissue destruction were extended widely through

the surrounding structures of the wound in diabetic rats in compare with the

control group.

2. The healing of wound was markedly delayed in diabetic rats, and it was

completed at the 6th week in diabetic rats, whereas the wound healing was completed

at the 2nd week in control group.

3. In control group the epithelization begun at the first day of experiment and

completed at 1st week with epithelial spur formation.

Although the epithelium covered the wound surface completely at the 1st week of

experiment in diabetic rats, it was thin and flat without rate peg formation until

the 4th week.

4. In diabetes group, the granulation tissue exist uP to the 4th week and

replaced by scar tissue at the 6th week. And the collagen deposition begun at the

1st week of experiment. In control group collagen deposition begun at the 3rd day

and granulation tissue was replaced by normal submucosal connective tissue at the

2nd week.
