간호중재 분류체계(NIC)를 이용한 내·외과 병동의 간호중재 사용 실태 조사

본 연구의 목적은 간호중재 분류체계(NIC)를 이용하여 내·외과 간호사들에 의해 사용

되는 간호중재를 알아내기 위함이다.

연구도구는 McCloskey와 Bulechek(1996)에 의해 수정 개발된 433개의 간호중재 분류체

계(NIC)를 염영회 외 3인이 번역한 '간호중재 분류' 중 내·외과 전문가 집단에 의해 파

악된 365개 간호중재였다.

설문지는 간호중재명을 정의와 함에 보여주는 것이었고, 2개의 종합병원, 217명의 간호

사로부터 수집되었으며, 분석은 SPSS를 이용하였다.

결과는 다음과 같다.

1. 간호사들의 간호중재 사용에서 내·외과병동에 따라 유의한 차이를 보인 간호중재는

141개였으며 '생리학적:복합적' 간호중재 영역이 가장 많았다.

2. 간호사의 교육정도에 따라 유의한 차이를 보인 간호중재는 출혈감소, 교육:질병과정

, 환경관리:안전, 감염통제 등 10개 간호중재였다.

3. 간호사의 임상경력에 따라 유의한 차이를 보인 간호중재는 색전예방을 위한 간호,

제품평가 등 14개 간호중재였다.

이러한 연구는 표준화된 간호중재의 근거로서 임상간호에서 실무적용이 가능할 뿐만 아

니라 간호의 질을 향상시키기 위한 연구와 전산화된 간호정보체계에 도움을 줄 수 있는

자료로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Identification of the Nursing Interventions Performed by Medical and Surgical

Nurses Using the NIC

The Purpose of this study was to identify nursing interventions performed by

medical and surgical unit nurses.

For data collection this study used the taxonomy of the Nursing intervention

Classification(NIC : 433 Nursing Interventions) which was translated by Yom et al

(1998), and then was modified by the clinical expert group, and finally the 365 NIC

was selected.

The questionaire included the name and definition of each nursing intervention.

The data was collected from 217 nurses in two hospitals and analysed using SPSS

window program.

The results are as follows :

1. There were significant differences between medical and surgical nurses in

utilizing 141 nursing interventions and most of them were in the Physiologic :

Comp1ex'domain.

2. There were 10 nursing ineterventions(Bleeding Reduction, Teaching : Disease

Process, Environmental Management: Safety, and Infection Control, etc) which showed

significant differences according to educational background.

3. There were 14 nursing interventions(Embolus Precautions and Product

Evaluation, etc) which showed significant differences according to clinical

expirience.

These findings will provide the basis of standardized nursing intervention which

can be utilized in developing quality nursing care and the computerized nursing

information.
