Propantheline bromide와 aluminum hydroxychloride 복합제제의 국소도포에 의한 땀분비 억제효과에 관한 연구

5% propantheline bromide와 10% aluminum hydroxychloride 복합제제의 발한 억제 효과를 관찰하기 위하여 건강한 남자 8명을 (18세에서 28세) 대상으로 하여 여름철인 7월과 8월 2개월 간에 걸쳐 실험하였으며 실험기간 중 음주나 심한 운동을 피하도록 하면서 일상

생활을 하게 하였다.

실험대상을 건구온도 46℃, 습구온도 41℃되는 Environmental Room(Lab-Line Inst, Inc)에 들어가 1시간동안 땀을 분비케 하였으며 Sato 및 Dobson이 고안한 sweat collector를 사용하여 양측 전박으로부터 분비되는 땀의 량을 측정하였다 (mg/9.8cm**2/hr).

실험약물 도포전 좌우측 전박에서의 땀분비량 사이에는 의의 있는 차이는 볼 수 없었다.(p〈0.4).

좌측전박에 실험약물을 1일 1회 6일간 도포 후 발한 억제율을 측정하였던 바 도포 후 2일에 우측전박에 비하여 61.9%의 억제율을 보였으며 제 4일에 47.0%, 제 6회에 49.5%로 모두 의의 있는 억제율을 보였다(P〈0.01).

실험기간 중 약물도포로 인한 피부자극, 알레르기성 피부염 등의 부작용이나 propantheline bromide의 흡수에 의한 전신증세는 볼 수 없었다.

The antiperspiratory effect of a topical preparation of 5% propantheline bromide and 10% aluminum hydroxychloride in an emulsion ground substance was studied in 8 healthy nonhyperhidrotic men ranging in age from 18 to 28 years in the summer season. During the studies the subjects were allowed to perform ordinary activities except for excessive exercise and drinking alcohol.

In the Environmental Room(dry bulb 46℃, wet bulb 41℃) the sweat was collected for 1 hour from both forearms using the sweat collectors which were devised by Sato and Dobson.

There were no significant differences in the amounts of sweat between right and left forearm before application of the agent. After the application of the agent on the left forearm once a day for 6 days, the sweat was estimated on the 2nd, 4th and 6th day on both forearms. Compared with the right forearm, the amount of sweat on the left forearm decreased to 62%, 47%, and 50% on the 2nd, 4th and 6th day respectively.
