Gustafson방법에 의한 한국인 영구치에서의 연령감정에 관한 연구

Abstract

한국인 고령층에서 연령감정을 위하여 무작위로 추출한 12세에서 79세에 이르는 한국인 영구치 치아 157개를 자료로 Gustafson 방법을 적용하여 생리적, 중령적인 변화를 분석하고 종합한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 연령과 Score간에 밀접한 상관관계를 갖고 고령층의 연령감정에 응용성이 높음이 재 확인되었다.

2. 한국인의 Score 성적이 대체로 서구인의 성적보다 높은 경향을 보였다.

3. 추정연령 적중률에 있어 estimation error가 70세 이상에서 ±4.47로 가장 높고 다음이 10∼19세군 ±5.20, 60∼69세군 ±5.8, 30∼39세군 ±5.98, 50∼59세군 ±6.20, 40∼49세군 ±6.72였고 20∼29세군이 ±9.28로 가장 낮았으며 평균 ±8.03을 보였다.

4. 본 연구성적에 의한 연령추정을 함에 있어 10∼49세 간의 성적에서는 산출연령보다다소 낮게 50∼70세 이상간의 성적에서는 다소 높게 실제연령을 추정할 필요가 있다.

This study with 157 extracted teeth, aged 12 to 79 years was proceeded to estimate the individual age by Gustafson's method and to analyze in terms of physiological aging changes.

The results were as follows.

1. It was confirmed that there existed comparatively close correlationship between age and Gustafson's score, especially in old age groups.

2. The Korean score revealed comparatively high than the Europeans.

3. In the probability of age determination, the highest estimation error showed in the group of over 70 (±4.47), the next 10∼19 (±5.20), 60∼69 (±5.80), 30∼39 (±5.98), 50∼59 (±6.20), 40∼49 (±6.72) and the lowest 20∼29 (±9.28). The mean value was ±8.03.

4. The following regression equation was obtained

y=3.55x + 8.52 (r=8.75)

5. In age determination with these data, it needs to estimate slightly lower than calculated age in age range of 10∼49, and slightly higher in over 50 for the real age determination.
