혀와 악간공간(Intermaxillary space)에 관한 두부방사선 계측학적 연구

저자는 정상교합자 30명과 Angle씨 제Ⅰ급 Bimaxillary protrusion 부정교합자 29명, Angle씨 제Ⅱ급 부정교합자 26명. Angle씨 재Ⅲ급 부정교합자 26명을 대상으로 두부방사선 계측사진을 이용하여 각 Group애서의 혀의 위치와 Tongue Space, Intermaxillary Space

를 분석 비교한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. Dorsal height는 정상교합자보다 Angle씨 계Ⅲ급 부정교합자에서 크게 나타났다.

2. Anterior Intermaxillary Height는 정상교합자보다 Angle씨 제Ⅰ급 Bimaxillary protrusion 및 Angle씨 제Ⅰ급 부정교합자에서 크게 나타났다.

3. Tongue Space는 정상교합자 보다 Angle씨 제Ⅰ급 Bimaxillary protrusion 부정교합자에서 크게 나타났다.

4. Tongue Space와 Intermaxillary Space의 비 (T.S./I.S.)는 정상교합자와 비교하여 Angle씨 제Ⅱ급 부정교합자는 크게 Angle씨 제Ⅲ급 부정겨합자는 작게 나타난다.

[영문]

The author studied on the tongue position, tongue space and intermaxillary space at 4groups; normal occlusion 90 cases, Angle's Class I bimaxillary protrusion 29 cases, Angle's ClassⅡ malocclusion 26 cases, Angle's Class Ⅲ malocclusion 26 cases.

This study used the data from cephalometric films of female subject aged from 16 to 23 years. Following results were obtained;

1. Dorsal height in Angle's Class Ⅲ malocclusion was greater than normal occlusion

2. Anterior Intermaxillary Height in Angle's Class I bimaxillary protrusion and Angle's Class Ⅲ malocclusion was neater than normal occlusion.

3. Tongue space in Angle's Class I bimaxillary protrusion was greater than normal occlusion.

4. The ratio of the tongue space to the intermaxillary space (T.T./I.S.) in Angle's Class Ⅱ malocclusion was greater and the ratio in Angle's Class Ⅲ malocclusion is lesser than normal occlusion.
