종양임상시험 연구간호사의 직무분석

본 연구는 종양임상시험 연구간호사의 직무분석을 통하여 직무기술서 및 직무명세서를 개발하기 위해 실시된 방법론적 연구로서, 연구진행은 직무조사도구개발단계, 직무조사분석단계 및 직무확정단계의 3단계를 통하여 이루어졌다. 연구대상자는 4개 종합병원에서 근무하는 67명의 종양임상시험 연구간호사로서, 질문지 조사를 통해 수집된 직무분석 자료를 바탕으로 종양임상시험 연구간호사 경력이 3년 이상이면서 중간관리자인 8인의 전문가 내용타당도 검증 과정을 거쳐 직무기술서와 직무명세서를 완성하였다.구체적인 연구결과는 다음과 같다.1. 종양임상시험 연구간호사의 직무분석을 위해 개발된 질문지를 이용하여 4개 종합병원에서 근무하는 연구간호사 중 임의표출 된 67명을 대상으로 2007년 11월 6일부터 11월 9일까지 기초조사를 실시하였고, 이를 통하여 현재 수행하고 있는 세부 직무별 업무량과 중요도를 제시하였다.2. 질문지 조사를 통하여 수집된 정보를 바탕으로 내용타당도 검증을 실시한 결과 전문가 타당도 점수가 0.75 이상인 57개의 세부 직무를 채택하였고, 집단 회의 과정을 통해서는 0.75 미만의 세부 직무 중 4개 항목을 수정·보완하여 다시 채택하고, 좀 더 명확한 의미전달을 위해 내용타당도 0.75이상인 직무 중 12개의 항목을 수정·보완하였다. 이에 본 연구에서 개발된 직무기술서는 <행정적 업무>, <직접적인 실무제공 업무>, <모니터링 업무>, <연구관련 업무>, <교육 및 상담 업무>, <옹호 및 조정 업무>의 6개 영역 하에 총 61개의 세부 업무가 기술되었다.3. 종양임상시험 연구간호사의 직무명세서를 개발하기 위하여, 문헌고찰을 바탕으로 작성된 문항을 질문지를 통해 조사하였고, 집단 회의 과정을 통하여 수정·보완하여 최종안을 기술하였다. 직무명세서의 각 항목은 학력, 경력, 자격, 자질, 능력 및 지식으로 분류되었는데, ‘학력’은 학사(4년제 대학졸업), ‘임상경력’은 1년 이상, ‘자격’은 간호사 면허취득으로 하였고, ‘자질’은 능숙한 의사소통 및 상담기술, 임상적 판단능력, 윤리적 태도 등, ‘능력’은 영어능력과 문서관리 및 작성 능력으로, 그리고 갖춰야 할 ‘지식’은 임상시험 관련규정, 해당 질병, 간호과정에 대한 지식 등으로 제시되었다.본 연구에서 개발된 직무기술서 및 직무명세서를 통하여 확인된 직무범위와 세부직무, 인적자격요건 등은 종양임상시험 연구간호사의 역할 규명 및 인적자원관리에 기여할 것으로 여겨지며, 향후 각 병원 및 연구분야 특성에 맞게 수정하여 직무평가에 활용할 것을 제언한다. 더 나아가 종양임상시험 연구간호사의 역할이 좀 더 확고한 전문 간호영역으로 개발되고, 보다 질 높은 직무수행자로서 임상시험에 관여하기 위한 정책마련의 기초자료로서 활용되어 지기를 기대한다.

This study is a methodological research using job analysis method to develop job description and job specification for clinical research nurse in oncology department. Study process consisted of 3 major steps, which included survey tool development, job analysis, and job confirmation stage. Subjects were 67 clinical research nurses who had been working at oncology department in four general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected using self - administered questionnaires from Nov. 6th, 2007 to Nov. 9th, 2007. Job description and job specification were developed after obtaining contents validity through expert panel which was organized with 8 clinical research nurses who experienced more than 3 years and were in managerial position.The results of this study are as follows.1. Detailed tasks were selected through expert panel. Processes were as follows; first 57 tasks of which CVR(content validity ratio) was greater than 0.75 were included and 4 tasks among the tasks of which CVR was less than 0.75 were modified and included through group meeting. For clarifying the meaning, 12 tasks among those tasks of which CVR was greater than 0.75 and already included in the task list were modified. Therefore, 61 sub tasks were described under the 6 main task domains which are administrative task, direct practice task, monitoring task, research-related task, education and counseling task, and advocating and coordinating task.2. To develop job specification for clinical research nurses, questionnaires were developed based on literature review and final version was modified and corrected through group meetings. Items in job specification were categorized according to education level, experience, qualification, quality, capacity and knowledge. Education level was grater than B.A degree, clinical experience was greater than 1 year, qualification was having nursing diploma, qualities were having communication and counseling skill, clinical decision making ability, and ethical attitude, capacity was consisted of English ability and ability of documentation and management of document and required knowledge was on clinical research regulation, related diseases, and nursing process.Job description and job specification which were developed in this study included task extent, detailed tasks and requirements and they were expected to contribute to elucidating the role of clinical research nurses and research personnel management. And they may be modified according to organization's purpose and characteristics and used for evaluating the performance of clinical research nurses. Moreover, they are also expected to serve nursing to extend the scope of nursing professionals into the field of clinical research and expected to be used as a fundamental data for policy making for nurses to involve in clinical research field as qualified personnel.
