저자는 Ⅱ급와동 복합레진 수복시 충전방법이 변연누출에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위하여 발거된 유구치 70개를 대상으로 Ⅱ급와동 69개를 형성하고 가시광선 중합형인 P-50과 BIS-FIL Ⅰ 두가지 구치부 복합레진으로 인접면과 교합면을 각각 한번에 충전하는 방법과 인접면을 세번에, 교합면을 두번에 나누어 충전하는 방법으로 충전하고 각각 교합변연부와 치은변연부에서 변연누출 정도를 측정하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 교합변연부에서 P-50군과 BIS-FIL Ⅰ군은 충전 방법에 따른 변연누출 정도의 통계학적 유의차는 없었다.

2. 교합변연무에서 P-50충전군 (p<0.01)과 BIS-FIL Ⅰ을 나누어서 충전한 군(p<0.05)은 대조군인 아말감 충전군에 비하여 변연누출이 적었으며 통계학적 유의차가 있었다.

3. 치은변연부에서 P-50 충전군은 BIS-FIL Ⅰ을 한번에 충전한 군에 비하여 변연누출이 적었으며 통게학적 유의차가 있었다. (P<0.05)

4. 치은변연부에서 P-50 충전군은 대조군인 아말감에 비하여 변연누출이 적었으며 통계학적 유의차가 있었다. (P<0.01)

5. 교합변연부와 치은변연부에서 변연누출은 재료와 충전방법에 관계없이 유의차가 없었다.

[영문]

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the marginal leakage of Class Ⅱ composite resin restoration in primary molars by the changing insertion method. The cavities were filled with two composite resin systems in accordance with following two insertion methods, first, single increment on occlusal and proximal cavity, second, two increments on occlusal cavity and three increments on proximal cavity, and amalgam filing as control group. The composite resin systems used in this study

were F-50/ Scotchbond 2 (3M Co.) and BIS-FIL I /RESH BOND(BISCO INC.) which were visible light cured. All procedures were directed by manufacturers' recommendations. All specimens were thermocycled by alternatly immersing them in water at 5℃ and 56℃ for 1000 cycles. They were immersed in 2% basic fuchsin

solution for 24 hours, embedded in acrylic resin, and sectioned mesiodistally through the restorations. The sectioned specimens were observed with light microscopy.

The following results were obtained.

1. No significant difference in the degree of marginal leakage was observed between insertion methods in P-50 and BIS-FIL Ⅰ groups at the occlusal margins.

2. At occlusal margins, p-50 groups (p<0.01) and 815-FIL Ⅰ incremental subgroup (p<0.05) showed less marginal leakage compared with amalgam filling group as control group and showed significant difference between them.

3. At gingival margins, p-50 groups show less marginal leakage compared with BIS-FIL I single incremental subgroup and skewed significant difference between them. (p<0.05)

4. At gingival margins, p-50 groups showed less marginal leakage compared with amalgam filling as control group and showed significant difference between them.(p<0.01)

5. No significant difference in the degree of marginal leakage was observed between occlusal margins and gingival margins in all insertion methods in P-50 and BIS-FIL I groups.
