Antegonial notch depth에 따른 하악골 성장에 관한 두부 방사선 계측학적 연구

저자는 하악의 antegonial notch의 깊이가 하악성장을 예측하는 기준치가 될수 있는지를 알기위해 antegonial notch의 깊이에 따라 대상을 Deep, Neutral, Shallow의 3group으로 분류하고 3∼4년 간격으로 각각의 두부방사선 규격사진을 비교 연구한 결과 다음과 같

은 결론을 얻었다

1. Deep notch group은 shallow notch group보다 하악체 장경과 하악지가 짧고, 큰 gonial angle을 갖는다.

2. Deep notch group은 shallow notch group보다 하악이 두개저에 대해 후방에 위치한다.

3. Deep notch group이 전안면 고경과 하안면 고경이 shallow notch group보다 크다.

4. Deep notch group은 vertical clockwise, shallow notch group은 horizontal counterclockwise로의 성장방향을 갖는다.

5. Deep notch group이 shallow notch group보다 관찰 기간동안 하악의 성장량이 작다.

The purpose of the present study was to disclose whether the depth of the mandibular antegonial notch can be used as an indicator of mandibular growth potential

The patients composed of 76 samples and were classified following 3 groups, based on the depth of mandibular antegonial notch : Deep notch group (more than 3mm), Neutral notch group (1-3mm), Shallow notch group (less than 1mm).

For each case, the first lateral cephalograms were taken prior to the start of observation and the second films 3-4 years after.

The results were as follows;

1. Deep notch group had a shorter corpus, less ramus height and greater gonial angle than did Shallow notch group.

2. Deep notch group had a more retrusive mandibular position than Shallow notch group.

3. Deep notch group had longer total anterior facial height and longer anterior lower facial height than Shallow notch group.

4. Deep notch group grow vortical clockwise growth pattern, while Shallow notch group grow horizontal counterclockwise growth pattern.

5. Deep notch group had less mandibular growth than Shallow notch group during observation period.
