Abstract
[한글]

저자는 치근단 폐쇄재료 및 방법이 치근단 폐쇄효과에 영향을 끼친다는 것에 관심을 갖고, 발거한 상악 전치 및 하악 소구치 125개를 각 군 25개씩, Apicoectomy만한 군, cold-burnished gutta-percha군과 zinc oxide eugenol cement, non-zinc amalgam 및 zine amalgamretrograde filling외 5개군으로 나눠 시편을 제작하였다.

모든 시편을 생리식염수에 침윤시켜 37。C 배양기에서 14일간 보관하고, 2% methylene blue에 24시간동안 보존한후, 치근단부의 중앙부를 치아장축에 평행되게 순설측으로 절단하고 색소의 침투정도를 측정하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 색소침투는 cold-burnished gutta-percha군에서 가장 작았고, Apicoectomy만한 군에서 가장 컸다.

2. zinc oxide eugenol retrograde filling군과 non-zinc amalgam retrograde filling군 사이에서만 유의차가 없었으며(P>0.05), 나머지 도든 군 간에는 유의차가 있었다 (P<0.05).

[영문]

This study was conducted to evaluate the apical leakage of various retrograde techniques to compare with the case of apicoectomy only; cold-burnished gutta-percha and retrograde fillings with zinc oxide eugenol cement, non-zinc or

zinc amalgam.

One hundred twenty five groups as mentioned above. Each tooth was enlarged using step-back technique and was obturated with the ordinary method. Root porion of the each tooth was prepared for the purpose of different experimental groups respectively.

The specimens were incubated at 37。C for 14 days and then were infiltrated by 2% methylene blue for 24 hours. The spical leakage was evaluated by measuring the degree of dye penetration into the canal wall, and the results were as follows:

1. the cold-burnished gutta-percha group showed the least amount of apical leakage and the apicoectomy group revealed the greatest amount of spical leakage.

2. Statistical evaluation showed that there were significant differences among the group(P<0.05), however there was no difference between the zinc oxide eugenol cement retrograde flling group and the non-zinc amalgam retrograde filling

group(P>0.05).
