타액 면역글로부린과 치아우식의 상관 관계에 관한 연구

Abstract
[한글] 남자대학생 48명을 대상으로 구강검사와 방사선학적 검사를 실시하여 치아우식증군(36명)과 치아우식증의 경험이 전혀 없거나 과거에 존재했으나 치료가 완료된지 6개월이 경과한 대조군(12명)으로 구분하여 타액내의 면역글로부린 및 Streptococcus muttons에 대 한 응집항체가와 치아우식증과의 관계를 관찰하고자 하였다. 혼합타액내 면역글로부린은 저농도 한천 면역 확산판을 사용한 단순방사 면역확산법에 의해 측정하였으며 Streptococcus mutans에 대한 응집항체가는 microtitration system을 이용하여 측정한 바 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 혼합타액내 IgA 농도는 치아우식증군이 대조군보다 약간 높았으나 그 차는 근소하였다. 2. 혼합타액내 IgG 농도는 치아우식증군에서 약간 낮았으며 혼합타액내 IgM 농도는 양군에서 1.1mg/dl 이하이거나 존재하지 않았다. 3. S. mutans 항원에 대한 응집항체가는 각 혈청형에 대한 항체가의 차이는 없었으나, 양군 모두에서 혈청형 d에 대한 항체가가 낮았다. 4. 치아우식증군에서 타액내 IgA 농도 및 IgG 농도와 DMF치수간에 상관관계가 낮았고 대조군에서는 타액내 IgA 농도 및 IgG 농도와 DMF 치수간에 역 상관관계를 나타냈다. 5. 타액내 IgA 농도와 S. mutans 항원에 대한 응집항체가와의 관계는 치아우식증군에서는 상관관계가 낮았고 대조군에서는 통계적으로 유의한 순 상관관계를 나타냈다.(P<0.05) 6. 타액내 면역글로부린농도 및 S. mutans에 대한 응집항체가와 DMF치수간에는 특이한 상관관계가 없었고, 치아우식증 유발에 크게 관여하지 않았다.
[영문] This study was undertaken to observe the relationship between salivary IgA, IgG, agglutinin titer & dental caries. The subjects divided into two groups, an active caries group (AC group) and caries-free and treated caries group (CFTC group). The AC group consisted of 36 subjects who had one or more carious lesions and the CFTC group of 12 subjects who had no evidence of caries or had filled teeth without present carious teeth for the last six months. The IgA, IgG and IgM levels in their saliva were measured by single radial immunodiffusion method using a disposable low-level immunodiffusion plate. The salivary agglutin in titers to Streptococcus mutans were measured by microtitration system. The results were as follow; 1. The mean value of IgA concentration in saliva of AC group was slightly higher than that of CFTC group, but its difference was slight. 2. The mean value of IgG concentration in saliva of AC group was slightly lower than that of CFTC group. The IgM concentration in saliva of both groups was neither below 1.1 mg/dl nor detected on LC partigen immunodiffusion plate. 3. There was no difference in the agglutinin titer to 5. mutans antigen by serotypes, but low level agglutinin to type d was measured in both groups. 4. AC group showed low correlation between IgA, IgG & DMFT, but CFTC group revealed negative correlation. 5. The relationship between salivary IgA & agglutinin liters to S. muttons was low correlation in AC group, but CFTC group skewed significant positive correlation.(P<0.05) 6. There were no specific correlations among the concentrations of salivary immunoglobulins, agglutinin titers to S. mutans, and the DMF teeth. They had no close concern to induce the dental caries.
