[한글]

연세대학교 치과대학 부속병원을 내원한 환자가운데 끽연자와 비끽연자 각각 75명의 협점막에서 박리세포에 의한 각화도르 검사한 결과 다음의 소견을 얻었다.

1. 각 연령층에서 끽연자가 비끽연자 보다도 다소 구강점막의 각화도가 증가하는 경향을 보였다.

2. 끽연기간이 증가할수록 구강점막의 각화도가 점차 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

3. 끽연량이 증가할수록 구강점막의 각화도가 증가하였다.

4. 끽연자중 남녀간의 구강점막의 각화도의 차이는 인정되지 않았다.

5. 끽연군과 비끽연구에서의 핵과 세포질의 변화를 비교한 결과 의의있는 차이르 발견하지 못하다.





A STUDY OF THE EXFOLIATIVE CYTOLOGY OF THE HUMAN ORAL MUSCOSA OF CIGARETTE SMOKING

The purpose of this study was observing the keratinization of human oral mucosa

on smoking & non-smoking persons.

The results are as follow :

1. In the oral mucosa of the smoker, it revealed the increase of keratinization

than the non-smoker.

2 . The keratinization of the oral mucosa revealed the increase in proportion to

the duration of smoking.

3. The keratinization of the oral mucosa increase in proportion to the amounts of

smoking.

4. Between the male and female in smoking, it didn't show the sensible difference

in the keratinization of the oral mucosa.

5. Between smoking and non-smoking, there was not a sensible difference in the

change of nucleus and cytoplasm of the oral mucosa.
