[한글]

저자는 자연치열에서 나타나는 측방 비중심교합의 유형과 전치부 수직피개도 및 Frailk fort-mandibular plane angle(FMA)와의 관계를 살펴보기 위하여 정상교합을 갖는 연세대학교 남학생 110명을 대상으로 임상검사 및 두부 방사선 규격사진을 이용하여 연구 분석

한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 측방 비중심교합 유형은 상, 하악 제 1대구치의 접촉거리를 기준으로 세균으로 구별 하였으며, 유형의 발생빈도는 Canine protected occlusion 8.2%, Partial group function

occlusion이 45.9%, Group function occlusion이 45.9%였다.

2. Canine protected occlusion과 Group function occlusion의 전치부 수직피개도*** 및 FMA****의 산술평균간에 유의의 차이를 보여 주었으며, 전치부수직피개도의 산술평균은 Canine protected occlusion**+ 보다 Group function occlusion**+이 작게 나타났으며

FMA의 산술평균은 Canine protected occlusion**+ 보다 Group function occlusion**++ 이 크게 나타났었다.

3. Extension of the Median test의 결과, 측방 비중심교합에 대한 전치부 수직피개도*** 및 FMA**+ 의 관계가 측방 비중심교합 유형별로 모중앙값간에 유의의 차를 보여주었다.

4. 전치부 수직피개도에 대한 FMA의 상관관계계수는 0.36이었다.





A STUDY OF LATERAL ECCENTRIC OCCLUSION PATTERNS AND THEIR RELATI0N TO THE INCISAL

OVERBITE DEPTH AND THE FRANKFORT-MANDIBULAR PLANE ANGLE IN NATURAL DENTITION

In order to search the frequency of occurence of lateral eccentric occlusion

patterns and their relation to the Incisal overbite depth and the

Frankfort-mandibular plane angle (F M A) in natural dentition, clinical observation

and roentgenogrnphic cephalometric study was undertaken in 110 young male students

who have normal occlusion.

The following results were obtained:

1. Occlusion patterns were categolized into three groups depending on the

magnitudes of first molar contact on the working side. Percentage (frequency) of

occurence of occlusion groups were: Canine protected occlusion, 8.2%, Partial group

function occlusion, 45.9%, Group function occlusion, 45.9%.

2. There was a significant difference between the arithmatic mean of Incisal

overbite depth* and the means of F M A** The mean of Incisal overbite depth of

Canine protected occlusion group+ was higher than that of Group function occlusion

group++ and F M A of Canine protected occlusion groups was lower than that of Group

function occlusion.++ *t=-2.26, d.f,=117,P<0.05 **t=12.54, d.f,=117, p<0.05

3. A statistical test, Extension of the Median test, indicated that these was a

significant difference among the relation of occlusion groups and Incisal overbite

4. The correlation coefficient between Incisal overbite depth and F M A was 0.36.
