정상교합자의 치관 경사도에 관한 연구

최근 교정학 분야에서 Straight-Wire Appliance에 대한 깊은 관심과 함께 그 사용이 증가되고 있다.

이에 저자는 S.W.A.를 위한 기초 자료의 수집과 임상 교정에 있어서 정확한 torque 량의 설정을 위하여 정상 교합자 78명의 석고 모형을 대상으로 치환 경사도를 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 상, 하악 각 치아에서 치환 경사도의 기준치를 얻었다.

2. 상악 치아는 소구치 부위부터 일정한 치관 경사도를 갖는 반면, 하악 치아는 견치부터 점진적으로 증가되는 치관 경사도를 나타냈다.

3. 상악 전치부는 Howes' ratio가 작을수록 치관 경사도가 증가되었다.

4. 악궁이 좁을수록 상악 전치부에서의 치관 경사도는 증가되었다.

Recently, straight-wire appliance is widely used with great concern in clinical orthodontic field.

The purpose of this study was to collect the information of the straight-wire appliance and to determine the crown inclination in clinical orthodontics.

The author analyzed the study model of 78 individuals with normal occlusion.

The obtained results were as follows.

1. Mean, maximum value, minimum value and standard deviation of crown inclination of upper and lower teeth were obtained.

2. The lingual crown inclination of upper tooth had constant vague from first premolar through second molar, the lingual crown inclination of lower tooth progressively increased from canine through second molar.

3. As Howes'ratio was decreased, the crown inclination of upper incisors was increased.

4. Narrowing the upper arch, the crown inclination of upper incisors was increased.
