[영문] To investigate the relationship between the retentive capacity of clasp and the vertical distance in an undercut, the author measured the retentive forces of Aker's clasps and Ⅰ-bar clasps in the undercut depth of 0.25mm, varing the vertical distance from 3mm to 1.5mm and analyzed statistically. The following results were obtained; 1. The retentive force of Aker's clasp in vertical distance of 1.5mm was higher than that in vertical distance of 3mm. 2. The retentive force of Ⅰ-bar clasp was not affected by the vertical distance. 3. In all test specimens, Ⅰ-bar clasps exerted more retentive forces than Aker's clasps. | - |
