치과임상에서 우수하고 정확히 적합되는 보철물의 제작을 위하여 여러 종류의 인상재가

사용되는데, 이중에서 임상시술과정이 간단한 연합인상의 인상재간 결합강도 및 정밀도

에 관한 관심은 매우 크다고 생각된다. 이에 저자는 agar-agar 인상재로서 R1(Dentloid),

R2(Combiloid), R3(Colloid 80)와, alginate 인상재로서 I1(Jeltrate), I2(CA 37), I3(C

OE Alginate)를 이용하여 각각의 연합인상을 채득하고 모형을 만들어 이를 Mitutoyo사의

micrometer와 depth gauge를 이용하여 정밀도를 측정하였고, Instron사의 인장강도 측정

기인 Tensilon을 이용하여 결합강도를 측정한 결과, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 정밀도 및 결합강도 측정에서 각 연합인상간에는 유의의 차이가 있었다.

2. 정밀도는 R3+I1 연합인상이 가장 높았고, R2+I1 연합인상이 가장 낮았다.

3. 결합강도는 R2+I3 연합인상이 가장 컸고, R3+I3 연합인상이 가장 작았다.

4. 모든 연합인상에서 사용 가능한 정밀도 및 결합강도를 나타냈다.

AGAR-AGAR AND ALGINATE IMPRESSION

In dental clinics, many impression materials are used for making well fitted

restorations. Among them, the combined impression of agar-agar and alginate has

more usable properties, so it is important to study on the dimensional accuracy and

the bond strength of this impression system.

To investigate the dimensional accuracy and the bond strength, three types of

agar-agar impression material (R1: Dentloid, R2: Combiloid, R3: Colloid 80) and

three types of alginate impression material (I1: Jeltrate, I2: CA37, I3: COE

Alginate) were used, and combined in all nine possible combinations.

With these combinations, the impression were made, and poured, and then

dimensional accuracy tests were carried out with a micrometer and a depth gauge

(Mitutoyo Co.).

The bond strength of these combinations were tested with Tensilon (Instron Co.).

The following results were obtained;

1. In the dimensional accuracy and bond strength, there was a significant

difference in all nine combinations.

2. In the dimensional accuracy, R3 + I1 combination showed the highest, and R2+I1

combination showed the 10west.

3. In the bond strength, R2 + I3 combination showed the highest, and R3 + I3

combination showed the lowest.

4. Clinically acceptable accuracy and bond strength were shown in all nine

combinations.
