한국인의 모양망막동맥에 대한 고찰

Abstract

모양망막동맥은 대부분 시신경유두의 이측연에서 나와 망막황반부와 시신경유두사이에 분포한다.

모양망막동맥은 망막의 신경섬유층을 통해 망막황반부까지 주행하여 시신경유두와 망막황반부사이의 망막에 영양을 공급하여 중심망막동맥패쇄시 중심시력을 유지하는 역할을 한다.

모양망막동맥의 출현 빈도는 Randall(1887)은 20%, Elschnig(1897)는 14%, Adachi(1928)는 8.7%, Mann(1957)은 25% 이상이라는 보고가 있다.

모양망막동맥과 중심망막동맥과의 밀접한 관계때문에 외국에서는 모양망막동맥에 대한 보고가 많이 있으나 우리나라에서는 이에 관한 보고가 없는 실정이다.

저자는 이러한 점을 참작하여 정상 안저소견을 관찰할 수 있었던 602명을 임의로 선정하여 우리나라 사람에서는 모양망막동맥이 얼마나 존재하고 있는지 알기 위하여 본 연구를 하여 몇가지 결론을 얻었기에 이에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

1. 전체 관찰대상 총 602명의 1,204안에서 모양망막동맥이 관찰된 경우는 133안으로 11.05%였다.

2. 성별 빈도는 남녀 비가 거의 비슷하였다.

3. 좌우안별 빈도는 우안이 41.75%, 좌안이 58.25%로 좌안이 다소 많은 분포를 보였다.

4. 양안의 빈도는 15명으로 12.71%였다.

The cilio-retinal artery appears ophthalmoscopically at the margin of the optic disc, usually on its temporal side and is concerned with the supply of a localized part of the retina, usually the portion between the disc and the macula. So the cilio-retinal artery preserves a very valuable amount of vision when occlusion of the central retinal artery occurs.

The incidence of the presence of the cilio-retinal artery has never been known in Korea while many foreign authors(Randall, Lang and Barrett, Elschnig, Jackson, Adachi, Mann) has reported. The cilio-retinal artery was observed in six hundred and two Korean with normal eyes.

The following results were obtained:

1. The incidence of the presence of the cilio-retinal artery was 11.05% of 1204 eyes.

2. There was no sexual predominance in the incidence of the cilio-retinal artery.

3. The incidence of the presence of the cilio-retinal artery in right ere was 41.75% and left eye 58.25%.

4. The cilio-retinal artery was found in both eyes in 12.71% of 118 Koreans with cilio-retinal artery.
