백서 치은 상피와 부착상피 표면 형태의 주사전자 현미경적 연구

치은의 상피는 형태학적이나 기능적으로 치은상피, 구강열구상피 및 부착상피등으로 구분된다.

본 논문에서는 치은상피 표면과 부착 상피 표면을 비교 연구함으로써 치은염의 발생 연구에 도움이 되고자 인간과 비슷한 치은형태들 갖고 있는 육안적으로 건강한 치은상대를 보이는 백서 15마리를 이용하여 법랑질을 탈회시킨 후 주사전자현미경적 관찰을 통하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다

1. 피은상피는 한변이 10∼30μ 길이의 사각형 또는 다각형의 형태를 보였으며 부착상피는 부위에 따라 달라, 상부와 증간부위는 다각형 또는 사각형으로써 길어진 양상을 보였고, 하부는 사각형 또는 마름모 형채를 나타내었다.

2. 치은상피는 분명한 honeycomb appearance를 보였으며 부착상피는 중간부위와 하부에서만 microridge가 불분명하게 관찰되었다.

3. 치은상피 표면에는 탈락되려는 세포가 관찰되었지만 부착상피 표면에서는 볼 수 없었다.

4. 치은상피 표면의 세포들은 서로 긴밀히 연결되어 있었으나 부착상피에서는 세포간에 넓은 간격을 보이며 불규칙하게 배열되어 있었다.

5. 부착상피의 세포간 연결은 상부에서는 톱니바퀴 모양으로 연결되어있고 중간부위와 하부는 면과 면이 선상으로 연결되어 있었다

The Purpose of this study was to evaluate the differences of tole surface characteristics between gingival epithelium and i unctional epithelium on the tooth surface of rats.

The specimens were obtained in 15 rats after decalcification in EDTA and examined in Scanning Electron Microscope.

The results were as fellows.

1. Gingival epithelia were square or polygonal share and 10-30μ in length, but junctional epithelia had different shapes according to their locations. In the coronal and middle zones, cells were square or polygonal with slight elongation however, those in the apical zone were square or diamond shapes.

2. Gingival epithelia had a honeycomb appearance and microridges were observed faintly in the junctional epithelia.

3. There were observed exfoliating cells on the surface of gingival epithelia, but not observed on the surface of junctional epithelia.

4. Cells in the surface of the gingival epithelia were arranged tightly but those in the junctional epithelia were arranged irregularly showing wide intercellular spaces.

5. Intercellular connections of junctional epithelia were sawtooth shape in the coronal zone but linear in the middle and apical zones.
