[한글] 저자는 체중이 약 130gm되는 백서 전치 법랑질표면에 30%, 50%의 인산, 구연산, EDTA를 각각 60초간 도포후 주사전자현미경적으로 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 인산으로 처리한 백서의 법랑질 1. 표면은 30%와 50%에서 모두 법랑소주를 포함한 전 법랑질 표면을 현저하게 부식시켰다. 2. 구연산으로 처리한 백서의 법랑질표면은 30%에서는 법랑소주의 일부분만이 탈회되었고, 50%에서는 법랑소주가 일부 또는 완전히 부식되는 경향이 관찰되었다. 3. EDTA로 부식시킨 백서의 법랑질 표면은 주로 법랑소주 주변에서 부식이 되었으나, 50%에서는 법랑소주와 그 주변이 명확하게 부식되었다.
[영문] In this experiment, etching was performed on the incisor enamel surfaces of 13 Albino rats, weighed about 130gm, with both 30% and 50% concentrations of the phosphoric, citric acids, and EDTA solution for 60 seconds. Immediately after extraction of the animal teeth, laboratory procedures for scanning electron microscopic observations were made and the author derived the following Conclusions: 1. On the enamel surface treated with 30% and 50% phosphric acids, all of the periphery, center of the enamel rods, and the enamel matrices were severely etched. 2. In the etched with 30% citric acid group, only the small part of the enamel rods were etched out. In case of 50% citric acid the periphery, center of enamel rods were partially or entirely etched, and the intermatrix spaces were widened. 3. In the 30% and 50% of the EDTA etched groups, the periphery of the enamel rods explicitely were etched, and the spaces between matrices were widened.
