Abstract
Synovitis is a rare cause of ulnar neuropathy at the elbow. In our case, a 34-year old house-wife had acomplaint of numbness and paresthesia on her left 4th and 5th finger and medial forearm for 2 months. Inclinical examination, painful tenderness was palpated on her left medial elbow. Electrodiagnostic studyshowed ulnar neuropathy at or around elbow level and MRI study demonstrated a cubital tunnel syndromeassociated with synovitis at the elbow joint despite nonspecific findings in ultrasonography. Afterconservative treatments including resting, anti-inflammatory agent and physical therapy, patient's symptomsand neurologic signs improved.
