Abstract
It was investigated the mechanical properties and biocompatibility of cold isostatic pressed stabilized zirconia composites.

At the zirconia block, whick contain CSZ( CaO 10 mol%), the value of Vickers hardness and bending strenth
were about 788.6 Hv and 627 MPa, respectively After sintering, properties of the sample measured by X-ray diffraction
(XRD, Rigaku, D/max lll, Japan) patterns, 3- point bending strengh(H-10 K, Hounsfield, U.K) Vickers hardness(MXDCX3E,
Matsuzawa, Japan) And surface image were analyzed by field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM,
JEOL, JSM-6700F). The binding force was enhanced by plasma process. Before plasma process the contact angle is
45˚ but the contact angle of after plasma process is 17˚. The shear bond strenth of before plasma process is
25.59 MPa and the value of after plasma process is 32.27 MPa, was enhanced. In the Agar diffusion test, it is confirmed
that all the materials which is used for the test are noncytotoxic.
