Abstract
Traumatic pancreas injuries are less frequent in abdominal trauma. However, the morbidity and mortality are high. Pancreatic injuries rarely occur alone and common associated with other intra or extra-abdominal injuries. An accurate diagnosis of pancreatic injury is difficult preoperatively due to the retroperitoneal location of pancreas and the lack of early clinical signs. Therefore, early diagnosis and interventions are important to manage pancreatic injuries. There are several therapeutic options for pancreatic injuries. Recently, the adoption of non-operative management for pancreatic injury is increasing. To minimize the morbidity and mortality, the important thing is to choose the optimal time and method to treat the pancreatic injuries
