The ’Children’s New Life Help’ funds have supported many patients suffered from their cancer disease. We described the clinical results of total 1047 patients who we could follow up during the last 2 years, from February 1991 to January 1993. Of the 1047 patients, 692 patients(66.1% ) survived, 196 patients(18.7% ) died, and 159 patients (15.2% ) were not able to follow up. The disease distribution showed majority of patients(623/1047, 59.5% ) were leukemia, and the others were lymphoma (99/1047, 9.5% ), neuroblastoma(79/1047, 7.5% ), brain tumor(72/1047, 6.9%), Wilms tumor(47/1047, 4.5% ), etc. in orders to number of patients. Especially, in acute lymphocytic leukemia, the onset age and initial leukocyte counts of patients were important in deciding survival rate. The 3 year survival rate of disease is as follows: acute lymphocytic leukemia 77.4%, acute non-lymphocytic leukemia 46.2%, non-Hodgkin lymphoma 67%, neuroblastoma 58.1%, brain tumor 58.2 %, Wilms tumor 78.8%.
