Abstract
ObjectiveThis study aimed to identify the occupational factors that influence turnover intention among working women with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). MethodsThis cross-sectional study targeted 410 working women with LUTS from a 2022 survey. Occupational characteristics, including working hours, shift work, bathroom accessibility, sitting time, musculoskeletal strain, job stress, and emotional labor, were assessed through a structured self-reported questionnaire using validated tools. Multiple logistic regression was applied to analyze the association of these factors with turnover intention. ResultsWomen who worked >52 hours per week had an odds ratio of 2.02 for turnover intention compared to those who worked fewer hours. Higher job stress and emotional labor scores also were associated with increased turnover intention. ConclusionsWomen with LUTS have higher turnover intention due to vulnerability to long hours, job stress, and emotional labor.
