dc.description.abstract | Aim:We investigated the impact of patient safety incidents on the quality of nurses' work-related lives, based on the Culture-Work-Health model. Design:Descriptive correlational study. Methods:An online survey was administered between March 10 and 18, 2020 to 622 nurses in South Korea who had experienced patient safety incidents within the past year. Descriptive analysis was performed along with inferential statistics, including one-way ANOVA, correlation, and multiple linear regression (p < 0.05). Results:A multiple linear regression analysis was used to identify factors affecting participants' quality of work-related life. Significantly influential factors were resonant leadership, just culture, organizational support, organizational health, and overall work experience. Conclusions:Resonant leadership and culture positively affects nurses' quality of work-related life. Therefore, it is critical to evaluate nurses' perceptions of these factors and use these factors in creating administrative interventions to assist nurses in improving their work experiences. | - |
