암 환자의 신체적 일상 활동과 우울의 관계에서 영적안녕감의 조절효과

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of PDA on depression in cancer patients and to verify the modulating effect of spiritual well-being. To this end, a questionnaire and survey were conducted from April to September 2015 targeting outpatients and inpatients of major hospitals specialized in cancer treatment by sampling judgment, and 185 responses were finally selected and used for the study. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were conducted to verify the actual state of each variable and the moderation effect. The main results are as follows. First, the average level of depression of the subjects was 1.01(0-3). Second, the target's level of PDA was 2.30 (1-3) and the average of spiritual well-being was 3.07 (1-5). Third, it was found that PDA of cancer patients had a significant effect on depression, and spiritual well-being showed a moderating effect in the relationship between PDA and depression. Through this, we present the importance of PDA and spiritual well-being as major intervention points for overcoming depression caused by cancer. It is proposed that medical institutions, religious foundations, and related social welfare institutions develop treatment programs and services to promote PDA and meet the needs of spiritual well-being.
