dc.description.abstract | 3D printing technology has been used in various fields, among which the medical field is showing a rapid growth trend. In particular, orthopedic surgeons have been making a wide range of personalized medical implants, and human models that are suitable for individual characteristics have been used in clinical practice as simulation and educational tools. In this study, Computerized Tomography (CT) data was converted into a 3D modeling file by using an open software 3D Slicer program, and a human body model was produced using an assembled 3D printer of FDM method. After the preparation of a customized human model of the distal humerus shaft fracture surgery, the usefulness of the 3D model and the preferred method of operation were investigated. According to the results of the 3D model, 64% of the 5 spicers answered more than 4 points, and the preferred method of surgery was different according to the fracture characteristics. Surgical planning or strengthening of surgical methods education using personalized 3D human body model will improve the accuracy of surgery and reduce the risk of surgery. | - |
