치아 경조직의 화학적 판정에 의한 성차연구

남녀 치아 상아질에서 유황의 함유량의 차가 있음을 감안하여 남녀 치아 162개에서 각

각 분말상 상아질 0.20gm을 취한 후 5㏄의 가성칼리(KOH)를 가하여 유기질이 완전히 분해

될 때까지 열처리를 행한 후 여과하여 증류수를 혼합시켜 각각의 용액의 수소이온농도를

측정한 결과 다음의 결론을 얻었다.

1. 남성의 평균은 13.175 0.031 여성의 평균은 13.245 0.030이며 실험치아의 약72 %에

서 여성의 수소이온농도가 높은 것으로 판명되었다.

2. 수소이온농도의 남녀 차는 대구치가 타부위의 치아보다 뚜렷하게 나타난다.

3. 연령에 따른 수소이온농도 변화는 남성에서 30∼39세에서 가장 높으며 여성은 20∼2

9세가 가장 높고 남녀 모두 연령이 증가함에 따라 수소이온농도가 점차 감소해가는 경향

을 보였다.

4. 각 부위의 치아 사이의 수소이온농도의 차는 통계적인 유의성이 없는 것으로 판명되

었다.

5. 50세 미만의 수소이온농도 평균이 50세 이상의 수소이온농도 평균보다 높은 경향을

보였다.

A STUDY OF SEX DIFFERENCE BY CHEMICAL DETERMINATION OF DENTIN IN HUMAN TEETH

This thesis was to investigate sex difference by employing the methods of

Bernadskij's and it's modification by means of the evaluation of pH of dentin in

162 extracted teeth. The obtained were as follows:

1. In 72% of all experiments, pH of human dentin snbstance was higher in female

than in male. Mean pH was 13.175 0.031 in male and 13.245 0.030 in female.

2. After comparative studies on each pH in anatomical region of tooth

arrangement, the sex difference of pH was most obviously showed in molars.

3. In pH Change according to ages, the 30's was the highest in male and 20's in

female, also pH showed decreasing tendency by the increasing of age in both male

and female.

4. There was no pH difference in anatomical regions of tooth arrangement.

5. Mean pH was 13.282 0.013 in under 50 years of age and 13.182 0.022 over 50. It

proved that pH was higher in under 50 years of age than in over 50.
