간호사 교육을 위한 심폐소생술 코스웨어 개발

일반적으로 교육활동에서의 컴퓨터의 이용은 학습자에게 새롭고, 흥미롭게 학습할 수

있는 기회를 제공해주며, 학습 효과의 증가와 시간 및 비용절감 등의 장점으로 인하여 학

습도구로서 그 사용범위가 급속도로 확장되고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 아직 우리 나라의

간호분야에서는 아직 그 활용도가 높지 않은 상황일 뿐 아니라 간호사가 이용할 수 있는

코스웨어의 개발은 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 간호사 교육을 위한 심폐

소생술 코스웨어를 개발하고자 한다. 특히 다양한 학습 주제 중 심폐소생술 교육을 주재

로 선정한 이유는 요즘 성인병 중 심장 질환자가 증가하고, 각종 사고로 응급상황애 처하

는 대상자들이 증가함에 따라 심폐소생술 교육에 대한 중요성이 증가하고 있기 때문이고,

간호사는 병원 내에서도 심정지 환자를 가장 먼저 접하는 의료인이므로 심폐소생술에 대

한 교육을 철저히 하여 응급 상황에 긴밀히 대처할 수 있도륵 준비해야 하므로 심폐소생

술에 대한 반복적 교육이 필수적이기 때문이다. 그러므로 반복적 교육에 유용한 컴퓨터

보조 학습방법(Computer Assisted Instruction; CAI)을 이용하는 것이 효과적이라 생각되

어 심폐소생술 코스웨어를 본 연구를 통해 개발하고자 하였다.

코스웨어 저작도구로는 틀북과 포토샵을 사용하였으며, 프로그잼 개발환경은IBM PC 585

이며, 윈 95환경이고 프로그램 속의 사진과 그림 삽입을 위해 후렛패커드 칼라 스캐너를

사용하였다. 그리고 본 코스웨어 사용 가능 환경은 하드웨어는 IBM PC 485이상급으로 윈

도우 3.1환경 또는 윈 95환경 모두 다 사용 가능하다. 하드웨어 메모리는 8M이상이면 된

다.

개발된 코스웨어는 3년이상의 임상 경험을 가진 간호사 중 심폐소생술 강의를 전통적

방식으로 받았던 경험이 있는 21명의 간호사와 심폐소생술 강의를 실시한 적이 있는 수간

호사 4명에게 코스웨어를 학습하게 한 후 '코스웨어 평가서'를 이용 평가하도륵 하였으며

, 평가 결과는 다음과 같다.

코스웨어를 학습하기 위해 컴퓨터를 조작하는 것에서는 어려움을 느끼지 않는다가 100%

로 조사되었고, 일반 강의�� 보다 흥미롭고, 주의집중이 잘 된다라는 의견이 85%로 조사

되었다. 주의집중이 잘 된 이유는 코스웨어를 학습하는 동안 지속적으로 컴퓨터와의 상호

작용을 해야 하므로 전통적 강의 때의 수동적인 학습자세에서 벗어날 수 있었기 때문이고

, 본 코스웨어의 단점으로는 한 화면에 나타난 글씨가 너무 많다는 지적이 있었으며, 몇

몇 그림의 크기가 작아 학습에 효과적이지 못하였다고 하였다.

코스웨어의 학습내용은 전통적 방법의 강의 내용과 별 차이가 없다고 하였으며, 병원에

서 간호사를 위한 심폐소생술 교육에 코스웨어를 이용을 한다면 이론교육 시에 코스웨어

로 학습하고 그 후에 실습으로 이어진다면 도움이 될 것이라고 하였다.

그러므로 지적된 단점을 보완하여 간호사 교육을 위해 사용한다면 효과적이라 생각된다

Development of Cardiopulmonary resucitation Training Courseware for nurse's Educati

Recently, the application of computer in the field of educational activities

prevails as it give md more interest and at the same time appeals much more and

givers increased effect of study and at the same time, reduced cost and time

consumption.

However, we can hardly nBke its practical use but we can iud few developments of

these courseware on the field of nursing in Korea.

The Purpose of this paper is to develope a computer assited Instruction on

cardiopulmonary resucitation(CPR) for nurses. CPR was selected to be the subject

matter because its instruction is of the first importance. Especially, the number

of cardiac disease patient goes on growing these days and nurse is the one whomeets

cardiac arrest patient first in the hospital, so repeated pactice of CPR is

essential to nurse.

Toolbook and Photoahop were used as programming tools for the coureware, and the

environment of program development was IBM PC with Pentium processor and MS windows

95 was used as an os. HP color scanner was used to insert photographs and fiuues in

to the program.

Minium system requirment is IBM PC with 486 processor, MS windows 3.1 with 8M

byte of memories and pointing device(mouse).

This developed software was evaluated by two groups. The first group clinical

career of more than 3 year and experience of ordinary lectures on CPR. and the

other group is that of 4 head nurses who has the experience of giving the lecture

on CPR. and the result are following.

All(100%) of the users were reported to have no problems in manipulating coputer

system. 85% of the users were reported to have had interested and more concentrated

instruction than in ordinary 1ecture.

The reason of the above result was the fact that the student should interact

successively with computer while studying. This fact makes the student get out of

the passive attitude which the ordinary lecture may give.

The defect of this coureseware was reported to have same what too many sentence.

Some figures were pointed out to be small in size. Tbere were no noticible

difference in contents between this coureware and ordinary lecture. Andp practical

trainig was recommended after theoritical education using this courseware.
