소아 당뇨병 환자의 치주 상태에 대한 임상적 연구

저자는 인슐린 의존성인 소아 당뇨병 환자 32명과 전신 질환이 없는 건강한 20명에서 치은 지수, 치은 퇴축, 치주낭 깊이, 치석 지수, 치태 지수를 측정하여 통계적으로 처리한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 치은 지수는 당뇨병군이 대조군에 비해 높게 나타났다

2. 치석 지수는 당뇨병군이 대조군에 비해 높게 나타났다.

3. 치은 퇴축, 치주낭 깊이, 치태 지수는 당뇨병군과 대조군에서 뚜렷한 차이를 발견할 수 없없다.

4. 당뇨병군에서 치은 지수는 치석 지수, 치태 지수, 연령 증가와 높은 정도의 상관 관계를 가지고 있었다.

5. 당뇨병군에서 치은 지수는 혈당량, 발병 기간과 뚜렷한 상관 관계를 관찰할 수 없었다

The purpose of this study was to investigate the periodontal status in the juvenile diabetic patients.

32 juvenile diabetic patients were selected for diabetic ground and 20 healthy people were selected for control group.

Gingival score, gingival recession, pocket depth, calcylus score and plaque score were estimated and tested by statistical method.

The results of this study were as follow:

1. Diabetic group was higher than control group in gingival score.

2. Diabetic group was higher than control group in calculus score.

3. There were no distinct difference between diabetic group and control group in gingival recession, pocket depth, and plaque score.

4. Gingval score had higher correlation to calculus score, plaque score and age in diabetic group.

5. Gingival score had no distinct correlation to blood sugar level and duration in diabetic group.
