악골의 전후방 관계를 평가하는 계측치 변화에 관한 누년적 연구

각 개개인의 골격구조에 대한 진단능력의 개선을 위해서는 누년적 연구를 통한 동일한 집단의 수치를 비교하는 것이 매우 중요한 의미를 갖는다.

저자는 연세대학교 치과 대학 교정학 교실에 소장된 6세부터 13세까지 아동(남자 15명, 여자 27명 )의 누년적 두부방사선 계측 사진을 통하여 상하악골의 전후방 관계를 평가하는 항목들의 연령 증가에 따른 변화를 관찰한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 계측 항목에 대한 각 연령별 평균치를 구하였다.

2. 연령증가에 따라 ANB, AXB angle은 점차적인 감소를, Facial angle, A-B plane angle, APDI는 점차적인 증가를 보였다.

3. Wits appraisal은 연령 증가에 따른 변화를 보이지 않았다.

4. 6세부터 12세까지의 모든 항목에서 남녀의 유의차는 보이지 않았으나 13세의 ANB, AXB, A-B plane angle 항목에서는 남녀의 유의차를 보였으며, 연간 변화량에서는 모든 항목에서 남녀의 유의차를 보이지 않았다.

To help arrive at a more accurate diagnosis of anteroposterior apical base relationship on each individual case, It Is important to compare the interpretation in the same population on a longitudinal basis.

The author studied on the changes of the anteroposterior aplcal base relationship using serial lateral cephalometric roentgenograms of 15 boys and 27 girls aged from 6 to 13 years of Korean children.

Following resells were obtained :

1. Norms of Korean boys and girls were established.

2. With ages, there was a gradual decrease of ANB, AXB angle, and there was a gradual increase of Facial angle, A·B plane angle, APDI.

3. Wits appraisal does not change significantly with ages.

4. No significant differences were observed in the changes between male and female subjects for all absolute values between the ages of 6 years and 12 years,

but significant differences were observed In ANB, AXB, A-B plane angle of the age of 13 years.

No significant differences were observed in the changes between male and female subjects for all incremental values between the ages of 6 years and 13 years.
