주의력결핍 과잉활동장애군(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder :ADHD)은 이 진단을 결정짓는 핵심증상 이 외에도 다양한 증상을 동반하게된다. 그 동안 ADHD와 다른 장애와의 병발에 대해서는 연구된 결과가 많이 있으나 빈번하게 나타나는 공격성관 우울증

상에 대한 상호관계를 보기 위한 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 저자는 연세대학교 의과대학 부속 세브란스 병원에 내원한 47명의 ADHD 진단 환아군을 대상으로 하여 아동 청소년 문제행동 평가척도(Child Behavior Checklist: CBCL)의 공격성 인자와, 아동기 우울증상 평

가척도(Children's Depression Rating Scale: CDRS)을 사용하여 공격성의 정도와 우울증상의 정도를 평가한 뒤 두 척도 사이의 상관관계를 살펴보았다. 공격성과 우울증상 사이에는 역상관관계가 있었는데, 이것은 공격성이 높을수록 우울증상의 정도는 적으며 공격

성이 낮을수록 우울증상의 정도는 많은 것을 나타내는 것이다.

The Correlation of aggression with depressive symptom in attention deficit

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) is a heterogenous disorder unknown

etiology. Little is known about the correlation of aggression and depressive

symptom in ADHD. Therefore, the author made a systematic study dealing with

correlation of aggression with depression symptom, 47 ADHD patients of elemantary

students were evaluated in child psychiatric clinic of Yonsei University Medical

Center and were studied the correlation of aggression with depressive symptom

after evaluating the severity of aggression and depressive symptom of patients

using the aggression factors of Child Behavior Checklist & Children's Depression

Rating Scale. If higher aggression, the lower the severity of depressive symptom

and if the lower aggression, the higher the severity of depressive symptom in ADHD.

These results indicated that there was reverse correlation of aggression with

depression symptom. Furthermore, the correlation of aggression with depression

symptom after medication needs to be explored.
