식이중 지방함유도가 불소중독증 흰쥐의 반상치 형성에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구

오늘날 치과영역에서 불소의 이용이 증가하고, 그 효과 및 위해작용에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 가운데, 식습관이 불소의 중독증에 미치는 영향을 연구하는 것은 의미있는 일이다.

본 연구에서는 식이중 지방함유도가 흰쥐 전치의 반상치형성 정도에 미치는 영향을 연구하기 위하여, 흰쥐 20마리를 무지방식이군, 정상지방식이군, 30%고지방식이군 및 50%고 지방식이군으로 각 5마리씩 나누어, 100ppm의 불소가 함유된 식이로 4주간 사육하였다.

사육기간 동안 체중변화를 관찰하고, 4주간의 실험 후, 반상치형성 정도를 관찰한 결과, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 과다한 불소섭취 하에서는, 식이중 지방함유도가 높을수록 성장지연 및 반상치형성도가 높아졌다.

2. 무지방식이군, 정상지방식이군 및 고지방식이군 간에는 반상치지수에 있어서 유의한 차이를 보였다(P<0.01).

3. 30%고지방식이군과 50%고지방식이군 간에는 반상치형성도에 있어 큰 차이가 없었다.

4. 식이중 지방함유도가 증가할수록 불소의 작용시간은 오래 지속되어, 반상치형성도를 증가시켰다.

The effect of dietary fat on the severity of dental fluorosis was investigated in rats fed isoenergetic diets with graded amounts of fat(0, 10%, 30%, or 50% of energy) containing 100 ppm fluoride for 4 weeks.

The results were as follows:

1. Depression of the growth rate and the severity of dental fluorosis were increased by increasing dietary fat.

2. There was a significant difference in mottled tooth scores among the fat free, normal fat and high fat diet groups.

3. There was no significant difference in gross anatomic features between the groups of 30% and 50% fat diet.

4. The enhancement of dental fluorosis by fat is believed to be due to the effect of fat and fluoride which is to decrease the rate of absorption, thereby allowing more the fluoride to be absorbed from the stomach.
