지역사회 보건을 위한 노력은 이미 오래 전부터 많은 사람들에 의하여 연구되고 있다.

지난 몇년동안 지역사회 주민을 대상으로 실시된 보건에 관한 연구는 대체로 보건 및 의료사업을 전개하기 위한 기초조사 또는 보건계획의 수립, 사업의 평가 등을 위한 조사가 대부분이었다.

이 연구는 보건에 관련된 변수와 사회 및 생활에 관한 변수를 서로 연결지어 1960년대 초기 부터 시작된 급격한 도시화 현상으로 주택의 주거양식도 새로운 형태로 변화되고 있는 「아파트」주민을 대상으로 아파트 지역주민의 일반적 특성, 보건상태, 생활상태 등을

알아보고 이들 세가지 종류의 변수들 간의 상호관련성을 연구하고자 하였다.

연구방법은 준비된 질문서에 의한 면접조사 방법을 사용하였으며 대상가구를 방문하여 주로 주부를 면접하여 기록하게 하였다.

분석변수는 여러가지 변수를 총괄하여 하나의 척도로 구성했으며 점수를 주어 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 아파트 지역 주민의 성별분포는 성비 90.5로 나타나 남자 보다 여자가 많았다.

연령분포는 부양비 59.9로서 경제활동 인구의 연령층이 전체의 2/3 정도였다.

아파트 지역 부인의 39.2 %는 30대 연령이었으며 교육정도는 고졸 이상의 학력이 45.8%였다. 평균 가구원수는 4.9명, 가족구성형태는 82.7 %가 핵가족 이었다.

현재 가정생활에 만족하며 요즘 가정내 어려움이 없다는 부인은 37.5%였고 가정생활에 불만족하며 가정내 어려움이 있다는 부인은 27.6%였다.

지역에 대한 만족도가 낮은 부인은 44.0%였다.

예방행동의 정도가 높은 부인은 14.0%였으며 정도가 낮은 부인은 18.5%였다.

치료행동의 정도가 높은 가구는 21.3%였으며 정도가 낮은 가구는 36.2%였다.

가사운영 문제 중 건강보건 문제의 결정권자는 부인결정이 42.5%로 다른 어느 가사운영 문제에서 보다 부인의 결정이 현저히 높았다.

The maim objective of this study was to clarify the correlation among three

variables; general vital characteristics, health status and socio-economic status

of the residents of apartment house in determining the health behavior of the

population.

For the data collection, housewives of the Yonhee Apt. house were interviewed

directly by interviewer with pre-designed questionairs. These group were analyzed

by the fellowing categories according to their health status, ways of house

management and their frequency of participation in local communities, including

other variables in determining their health behavior.

Results were summarized as follows:

1. 39.2% of housewives were at thirties. 45.8% of housewives were above high

school education. Average family size were 4.9 person/family. 82.7% of families

were nuclear family and the sex ratio of residents was 90.5.

2. 37.5% of housewives were satisfied with houselife and also they did not

complain any difficulties at home. Housewives who did not satisfied with houselife

and having minor problems at home were found to be 27.6% of the total population.

3. About half of the population ( 44.0%) wanted to move to other place.

4. 14.0% of housewives showed positive attitude in practicing preventive health

behavior and 18.5% of housewives showed negative attitude.

5. 21.3% of households showed positive attitude in practicing in health care and

in contrast 36.2% of households showed negative attitude.

6. Major decisions concerning family health were made by the housewives which

represent about 42.5% of the population. The housewive's participation in

determining the health matt or were considered significantly high among any other

decisions in house management.
