조기부모 상실과 건강상태와의 관계

인격 발달과정을 경험하는 유아기로 부터 청소년기에 있어서의 부모상실의 경험이 개인에게 미치는 영향은 여러 가지 측면에서 문제가 되고 있음을 널리 알려진 개념이다.

그 중에서도 이러한 상실의 경험이 사회 병인적인 역할을 할 뿐만 아니라 개인의 전반적인 건강상태에 영향을 미친다는 가설은 충분히 연구되어야 할 과제라고 여겨진다.

이에 본 연구는 조기부모 상실을 경험한 여고생 314명을 실험군으로, 정상적인 가족환경을 가진 여고생 300명을 대존군으로 선정하여 조기부모 상실과 건강상태와의 관계를 분석하고 이에 관련된 변수를 찾고저 하는데 그 목적이 있다.

자료는 개인 면접법과 건강질문지 (C.M.I.)를 사용하여 수집 하였고 t-test, x**2-test, 변량분석 등으로 통계적 검증을 하였다.

연구결과는 다음과 같다.

1. 실험군과 대조군간의 건강상태는 신체, 정신, 전체건강에 있어서 통계적으로 유의한 차를 보여주었다. 즉 조기부모 상실집단이 정상집단보다 건강상태가 좋지 않았다.

2. 실험군의 건강상태는 상실부모의 성별, 상실 유형, 대리자의 종류, 상실시 연령, 상실기간에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보여주었다.

3. 상실과 관련된 6개의 변수 중 실험군의 건강상태와 통계적으로 가장 관계가 깊은 변수는 상실시 년령이었고, 그다음이 상실부모의 성별, 상실 유형의 순이다.

Aming to fond out arty relationship between the health status of high school girls and the early loss of their parent, the Cornell Medical Index (C.M.I.) Questionnaire and interview method were used for 314 girls as an experimental group and for 300 girls as a control group.

The study results showed as follows:

1. A significant difference in the health status between the experimental group and the control group was found in that the C.M.I. score showed higher in the experimental group than in the control group.

2. A significant difference in the health status was found in accordance with the sex of the lost parent, the cause of loss of the parent, the substitute for the lost parent, the age of losing parent and the duration of loss of parent in the experimental group.

3. A significant difference in the health status in the experimental group showed according to the three variables in the six variables-the sex of the lost parent, the cause of loss of parent, the substitute for the lost parent, the age of losing parent, the duration of loss of parent and the degree of economic support.

The most significant factor toward the health status nae shown by the age of losing parent, the sex of lost parent and the cause of loss of parent with the order.
