산업이 발달함에 따라 각종 배출원에서 배출된 대기오염물질은 인간의 생활환경 및 경제적인 피해를 유발시키고 있다. 이중 분진은 아황산가스와 같이 대기오염의 지표로서 그 피해에 대한 많은 보고가 있다. 특히 시멘트 분진에 대한 식물 및 생활환경 피해가 보고 된바 있다.

우리나라에는 대량의 분진배출업소인 시멘트공장이 전국에 산재해 있으나 아직 여기에 대한 정확한 분진배출 자료가 업는 실정이다.

이에 저자는 한 시멘트 공장에서 분진배출율과 배출분진의 입경분포를 조사하였고 공장주변에서 강하분진량 및 부유분진농도를 측정하였으며 실측된 자료를 이용하여 지역별, 계절별 오염농도를 추계하였으며 이에 약간의 결과를 얻었다.

1. 주연돌배출율은 13회 측정한 결과 0.22g/N㎥의 농도를 보였으며 이것을 세정집진기 설치 전후로 비교하여 보면 세정집진기 설치전에는 평균 0.64g/N㎥으로 환경보전법 배출구 먼지허용기준농도 0.5g/N㎥을 초과 하였고, 세정집진기 설치후에는 평균 0.43g/N㎥으로 이에 미달하는 것으로 나타났다.

2. 주연놀분진입경분포는 2∼3㎛가 20.8%fh 가장 많은 분포를 보였고 누적분포율 50%에서 입경은 1.5㎛였으며, 대부분이 10㎛이하로 나타났다.

3. 강하분진량은 세정집진기 설치전체는 45.29∼15.45 ton/㎢/월 이었으며 설치후에는 37.81∼4.76 ton/㎢/월으로 세정집진기 설치후에는 강하분진량이 다소 감소 하는 것으로 나타났다.

4. 부유분진량은 8개 지점에저 측정한 결과 20.6∼200㎍/㎥으로 나타났으며 배출원에서 거리가 멀어질수록 감소하는 경향이 뚜렷하게 나타났다.

5. 실측된 부유분진농도와 강하분진량과 관계를 직선회귀방정식으로 표시 해보면 Y=4,024 x + 11,479로 나타났 r=0.91의 높은 상관성을 보였다.

6. 강하분진량 추계치는 세정집진기 설치전에는 가을에 SW방향 100m 지점에서 102 ton/㎢/월으로 나타났으며, 겨울에는 SW방향 100m에서 84.5 ton/㎢/월, 여름에는 NWE방향 100m에서 69.7ton/㎢/월, 봄에는 NE방향 100m에서 32.8 ton/㎢/월로 나타났고 세정집진기 설치후에는 다소 감소하였다.

또한 부유분진량의 추계치는 가을과 겨울치 SW방향 100m거리에서 423㎍/㎥, 351㎍/㎥이었으며, 봄과 여름은 NE방향 100m거리 에서 143㎍/㎥, 292㎍/㎥으로 나타났다.

[영문]

To investigate the an air pollution by particulate matter and its dispersion, a cement plant produceing partland cement 600,000 ton/year and its vicinity were surveyed from October, 1980 to April, 1983.

The survey was mainly focused on main stack emmission rate of the cement plant and particle size distribution in the dust ,dust fall and total suspended particulate concentration in the area by month and distance from the stack.

The results of the study were as follows;

1. The main stack emission rate was surveyed whether the spray tower was installed or not. Several measure E.P and bag filter against dust emission had been performed as well as the spray tower or not. Before the spray tower, the main stack emission rate was higher

2. (0.64g/N㎥) than the emission standard of Korean Environmental Preservation Law's (0.5g/N㎥), but after the spray tower, its main stack emission rate was markedly decreased to the standard (0.43g/N㎥).

2. 2-3㎛ of the size from the main stack was the largest portion (20.8%) in the dust particulate and 1.5㎛ of the size was 50% of the frequency distribution. Most particle size was below 10 um.

3. The Spray tower reduced the dustfall while without the spray tower, dustfall appeared at 45.29-15.45 ton/㎢/month, with the spray tower at 37.81-4.76 ton/㎢/month.

4. Mean concentrations of total suspended particulate for 24 hours of the various stations were determined in 20.6-200.0㎍/㎥ 3 of than were higher than the value of Harry and William's arithmetic average standard 130㎍/㎥.

5. Linear regression between dustfall and total suspended particulate concentration was an equation. Y=4.024x + 11.479.(r=0.91)

6. During the whole seasons in the opposite area remoted of 100m far from the emission source the prevailing wind direction was with estimated more than 30 ton/㎢/month, and the concentration of total suspended particulate for 24 hoursaveraging time was more than 140㎍/㎥ in the same area and direction.

7. Assuming the wind direction were constant through the day dustfalls for a day in the same wind direction were estimated at 13.40ton/㎢/day, 10.79 ton/㎢/day and 4.55 ton/㎢/day at various distances of 100m, 500m and 1,500m from the emission source respectively.

8. In the simulation of dustfall and suspended dust by area, Gaussian dispersion model modified by size distribution of particulate matter was not applicated since the emission of dust were from multi sources other them stack. From the above results, it could be applied that the dispersion of dust from the cement plant is estimated and regulated for the purpose of environmental protection.
