실험적 치아 이동력에 따른 백서 치주조직내 Oxytalan섬유의 변화에 관한 조직학적 연구

치주조직에 존재하는 Oxytalan섬유는 기계적 자극에 의하여 수, 형태, 배열등의 변화를 가져오는데 이러한 변화는 교정치료시 치아를 이동시켰을 때 본래의 위치로 돌아가려는 경향을 야기시키는 원인들 중의 하나로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 21마리의 백서의 치아에 실질적인 힘을 가했을 때 치주조직내의 Oxytalan섬유의 변화를 관찰하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다.

가. 실험적인 칩을 가했을 때 Oxytalan섬유는 견인측과 압박측에서 그 수가 모두 증가하였다.

나. 치주인대의 압박측에서 굵고 압축된 Oxytalan섬유들이 치조골 가까이에 주행되고있었다.

다. 치주인대의 견인측에서 Oxytalan섬유들이 넓게 산재되어 주행하고 있었다.

라. 제1, 2군에서 많은 량의 Oxytalan섬유들이 나타났으며 제3, 4군에서 주행성이 불규칙해졌고 일부 소실된 양상이 나타났으나 제5, 6군에서는 제1, 2군에 비해 주행성은 짧아졌으나 제3, 4군에 비해 증가된 Oxytalan섬유들이 관찰되었다.

This study was undertaken to find the changes of the oxytalan liters in periodontium of rats during experimental tooth movement. For the purpose of this study, closed coil spring and ligature wire were used between maxillary right 1st molar and maxillary central incisors.

The experimental animals were investigated by histochemical staining method.

The following findings were obtained ;

1. The size, number of oxytalan fibers were increased in the experimental groups.

2. Thick, compressed oxytalan fibers were running near the alveolar bone in the pressure side of periodontal ligament.

3. The marked oxytalan fibers widened in the tension side of periodontal ligament.

4. Oxytalan filers were predominant in Group 1, 2 and localized disappearance & irregularity of oxytalan fibers occured in Group 3, 4. In Group 5, 6, oxytalan fibers became more numerous than in Group 3, 4 but the length of oxytalan fibers were shorter than in Group 1, 2.
