한국인 성인 정상교합자 치관의 설측면 특징에 관한 연구

한국인 성인 정상교합자 치관의 설측면의 형태학적 특징을 연구하여, 한국인에 맞는 Lingual bracket을 제작하기 위한 기초자료를 마련하고, Lingual Archform을 구하고자 17-26세 사이의 정상교합자인 남 ·녀 각기 50개씩의 석고모형을 선정하여 각 치아에 대한 치아크기, Angulation, Arch width, Horizontal contour, Lingual eminence 등을 측정하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 각 치아에 대한 계측항목의 성인 정상교합자의 기준치를 얻었다.

2. 각 측정치에 대한 남 ·녀별 유의차 검정에서는 교합면 trimming전의 상악 제1대구치간 폭경과 trimming후의 상악 제 1 ·제 2대구치간 폭경에서만 통계학적 유의차를 나타냈을 뿐, 다른 항목에서는 유의차가 없었다.

3. 치관부 설면의 HorizontaL contour에서는 하악 전치와 상 ·하악 소구치에서는 variation이 작았으나. 그밖의 치아에서는 variation이 다소 크게 나타났다.

4. 설측면의 crown eminence와 Lingual Arch form은 상악의 경우 견치와 소구치 사이에 offset이 나타난 반면, 하악의 경우는 상악처럼 강한 offset이 나타나지 않았다.

[영문]

The purpose of this study was to obtain the lingual morphology (size, angulation, contour, eminence) of adults with normal occlusion in order to provide the basic data for lingual bracket and lingual arch form in Korean.

The subjects (Male: 50, Female: 50) were selected who have normal occlusion and dental casts were prepared. Tooth size, angulation, arch width, horizontal contour, lingual eminence were measured for all 28 teeth both upper and lower srch.

The results were as follows:

1. Measuring items of all individual teeth for adults with normal occlusion were obtained.

2. In comparison testis, there was a statistically difference between intermolar widths (6 to 6) before occlusal reduction and intermolar width (6 to 6, 7 to 7) after occlusal reduction only, all the other measuring items showed no statistically differences.

3. There was small variation in horizontal contour of lingual surface on lower incisors and upper and lower bicuspids. The other teeth showed somewhat geater variations.

4. There was offset between canine and bicuspid in upper arch while there was no prominent offset in lower arch.
