스포츠의료인력 양성방안에 관한 연구 : Athletic trainer제도도입을 중심으로

스포츠과학의 체계화를 위한 스포츠 의료인력인 Athletic Trainer(이하 AT라 한다)의 양성방안을 강구하기 위하여 이와 관련된 전문분야 인사 17명을 대상으로 AT의 필요성, 대상인력배경, 필요한 교육과정에 관하여 2단계에 걸쳐 델파이 조사를 실시하고 이를 토대로 4년제대학 졸업 물리치료사 및 체육학과 졸업생 161명에게 교육훈련을 실시하였다.

교육을 수료한후 그 결과를 평가분석하고 최종적으로 전문가들에게 향후 스포츠 의료인력의 도입방안에 관한 의견을 들어 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다.

1. 의사의 지도감독하에 선수들을 관리하므로써 경기력향상 및 부상방지등의 활동을 전담하는 인력인 AT는 현시점에서 반드시 필요하며 이러한 인력양성의 대상은 물리치료사와 체육학과 졸업생이다.

2. AT의 양성교육은 강의와 실습을 포함한 약 400시간 정도의 교육이 필요하며 그 과정과 그 시간배경은 자연과학, 사회과학 및 실습에 필요한 시간을 배정해야 한다.

3. AT의 자격인정 또는 면허등은 AT 협회(가칭)의 인정으로 발행하며 초기에는 과정수료로 차차 필기, 실기, 인턴과정등을 실시하는 것이 좋다.

In this stuffy 17 specialists in various fields of sport were surveyed in three rounds by the Delphi technique, with a view to the development of athletic trainers in Korea , and the following conclusions have been drawn :

1. It is necessary to have athletic trainers under the supervision of team doctors to prevent sports injuries and to protect players from une%peeled accidents.

At present, physical educators and physical therapists are considered to be qualified as athletic trainers.

2. To be qualified athletic trainers, 400 hours of education in social sciences, natural sciences and practicing athletic training are required.

3. There should be a qualification examination system for qualified Athletic Trainers, and this test should be administered by the KATA.
