연세대학교 치과대학 치과병원 종사자의 두발중 수은 함량에 대한 연구

Abstract

[한글]저자는 연세대학교 치과대학 치과병원에 근무하는 치과종사자의 두발중 수은함량을 조사하기 위하여 이 병원에 근무하는 치과의사 18명, 치과위생사 및 보조원 7명 그리고 대조군으로써 건강한 성인 8명으로부터 두발을 채취하였고 원자흡수분광법에 의하여 두발중 수은 함량을 측정하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 치과종사자의 두발중 수은 함량의 평균치는 1.050ppm, 일반인의 평균치는 0.915ppm으로써 두군간에 통계학적 유의차는 없었다(p>0.05).

2. 아말감 치료를 하는 부서에 근무하는 종사자의 평균치는 1.127ppm, 그외의 부서에 근무하는 종사자의 평균치는 0.933ppm으로써 두 군간에 통계학적 유의차는 없었다(p>0.05).

3. 조사 대상자 전체에서 여자의 두발중 수은함량 평균치가 0.766ppm, 남자의 평균치가 1.194ppm으로써 여자에서 더 낮은 두발중 수은함량이 나타났다(p<0.05).

[영문]This study was carried out for the purpose of evaluating the mercury level in the head hair of dental workers in Dental Hospital of Yonsei University.

Collected samples of head hair from 33 subjects -18 dentists, 7 dental auxiliaries, 8 healthy adults-were analysed by cold vapor technique of atomic absorption spectrophotometry to determine the mean mercury level of the head hair.

The results obtained were as follows.

1. The mean mercury level in the head hair of dental workers was 1.050 ppm and the mean mercury level in the head hair of healthy adults was 0.915 ppm

There is no statistical significance between the two groups(p〉0.05)

2. The mean mercury level of dental workers handling the amalgam was 1.127ppm and the mean mercury level of the other dental workers was 0.933ppm

There is no statistical significance between the two groups (p〉0.05)

3. The mean mercury level of the female in the total samples was 0.766ppm and the mean mercury level of the male was 1.194ppm.

The mean mercury level in the head hair of the male was higher than the mean mercury leve of the female. (p〈0.05).
