Abstract
With the advances made in imaging techniques, ischemic strokes affecting the bilateral cerebellum have been reported with increasing frequency. However, simultaneous infarctions in the bilateral medial regions of the cerebellum, territories of the medial branches of the posterior inferior cerebellar artery (mPICA), are rare. This rare type of infarction shows a good prognosis without accompanying acute hydrocephalus.
