Abstract
Purpose: Multicultural home has already been a part of this society and it has caused a lot of conflicts and problems. So there were many and various studies in several fields about it, but few in medical areas. I has reviewed the features of observed children from it at a single institute in southern Gyeong-Gi Do to help them and the future research.

Method: I studied the children from it who were observed at the department of Pediatrics in YongIn Severance hospital from January 2003 to December 2007 except the refugees from North Korea (Se-Tur-Min). I investigated their annual visit numbers, age distribution, purpose of visit, nationality of parents, and so forth.

Results: Total cases was 332. The annual observed numbers were increased four folds from 27 cases in 2003 to 108 in 2007. There were 199 cases (59.1% of total) less than one year old and 208 cases (85.4%) less than five and only two case over twelve. The purpose of visit were disease (145 cases), birth (90 cases), vaccination (84 cases), certification (13 cases). The nationality of parents showed that the marriage immigrants mother from asia were almost all of them (96.4%).

Conclusion: The numbers of observed cases increased rapidly every year. Almost all of them were less than 5 years old and children of marriage immigrants mother. The cases due to disease were less than half of them. The feature of results suggests that language communication and other supportive care should be done to provide them the appropriate medical care. I propose the nation-wide study for them
