Abstract

Understanding of principles of nutritional support is very important to manage the critically ill patients. We consider and remind the importance of nutritional support. When we start nutritional support, enteral nutrition is considered primarily. However we have to know the indication and practice of parenteral nutrition. Hereby I review the current guideline for parenteral nutrition and practical points.
