연구 분야
연구 내용
▷ 암질환의 3대 핵심 치료법인 방사선치료에 수반되는 정상조직 손상 극복을 위한 신약개발을 목표로 함. 본 연구실은 임상 방사선치료를 대변하는 소동물 방사선 조직 부작용 모델 (영상유도 고선량 미세방사선 조사 시스템)을 이용하여 방사선 유도 정상 조직 손상에 관여하는 기전연구 및 타겟마커를 발굴하여 방사선 조직 손상의 최적의 치료 및 예방법을 제시하고자 함. 대표적으로 방사선폐손상 소동물 모델을 기반으로 방사선폐렴 및 방사선폐섬유화의 저해제 개발에 관련된 연구를 수행하고 있음.
▷ 본 연구를 통하여 방사선치료의 효율을 증대시키고 부작용을 경감시킬 수 있는 항암치료 전략을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대함.
