dc.description.abstractAnalysis of cancer cells: A new technique isolates rare circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and analyzes their protein expression by the use of detachable beads and high-pore-density filters. This technique shows significantly improved efficiency in the isolation of rare CTCs from peripheral blood and enables accurate measurement of in situ protein-expression levels.-
